Like I said in the last blog we will be doing a lot of traveling this summer. Regardless, there is always preparations before we hit the road. We can count on the last week being insane. This year was no different. It was five days of go-go-go.
Sunday was St Patricks Day. The park had a celebration in the clubhouse but we kept it simple at home. Reubens for dinner filled the corned beef and cabbage menu after we spent the morning cleaning and stowing things for the road. Monday more work getting ready and a last doctor appointment for me. Tuesday we made our last blood donation for the season and got together with one of our Zephyrhills friends for dinner.Only two days before we leave and we still had things to do around the trailer. Mary also had her last doctor appointment on Wednesday.
Thursday is the day it either gets done or we will live without. That meant last minute grocery shopping, fill propane tanks, stock up on snacks for the road, turn in our keys at the park, and say our last goodbyes. We got Chinese take out because it was easy and finding good Chinese food can be difficult in many areas.
The next blog will be from the road. Tomorrow we leave our home in Zephyrhills because....
Home is where we park it,
Frank and Mary
