Happy New Year to everyone! I would guess that without exception we are all glad to see 2020 go. I'm not saying that nothing good has happened, that is just not possible. But with all that we have gone through, a sense of normalcy would be nice.
Well let me recap our year. Last year we were involved in what turned out to be a great New Year's Eve celebration. We ended the 2019-2020 Winter Texan season sneaking a St Patricks Day dinner in under the wire before everything got cancelled because of Covid19. Instead of fixng our old RV in Indiana we decided to get a new one and stayed in Texas a few extra months.
This was going to be our summer not work camping. We were going to see our grandaughter graduate, visit some family and friends, and just relax. Like everyone else our plans got highjacked by the pandemic. We wound up finishing the summer working in South Dakota. Again we had a good time and made some friends like we always do.
The winter started with us in Ocala Florida. This would be our first winter back in the Sunshine State in almost 4 years. It would be good being close to family and friends for an extended period of time. Ocala didn't work out but we made lemonade out of the lemons and found a place in Zephyrhills and lo and behold our managers from Texas were in charge.
The holidays were celebrated with peace and quiet for two. It was a time to reflect on everything in our life. The years have given us so much to be greatful for. Our family and friends are healthy during this pandemic. We have a new home and are looking forward to many years traveling the country. Looking back at our travels we realize that we have been very fortunate to have seen so many places and things while RVing these past 15 years. The places we have been and the people we have met give us hope for a better 2021.
We wish all of you a happy and healthy New Year from our home in Florida because...
Home is where we park it,
Frank and Mary
As soon as your ready, let me know we'll do dinner!!
